Ancient Sumerian seal believed to be created over 6,000 years ago, depicting our solar system (upper left). What is most noteworthy to me is how the sun is the center of the galaxy. Furthermore, the planets are depicted as ROUND. This was created thousands of years prior to the Cristopher Columbus days. Prior to the European/Anglo-Saxon philosophy which preached the sun revolved around the flat earth.

The planets are depicted as round because you see round dots in the sky. And I count 11 “planets” which we know there aren’t that many. And you can only see 5 planets in the sky without a telescope and of course they would put the sun as center of the solar system, not galaxy, due to it being the largest object in the sky. Don’t go looking for things that aren’t there. It’s the reason so many people believe in the ridiculous notion that we come from ancient aliens. Ancient people spent their spare time looking up at the stars without light pollution, while we watch tv and go to the mall. Also, people knew the earth was not flat long before the anglo saxons or Christopher columbus.

All you people run to your joys,

And never stop to realize that

to be happy is not the only reason

we should exist.

Live animals sold as key rings in China
“Small fish, turtles and other amphibians are being sold in Beijing as mobile phone trinkets and key rings, to the chagrin of animal rights groups. Kept in bags filled with colored, oxygenated water the animals cost around $1.50 each.”

So fucked up you Chinese bastards.

Johann Ryno De Wet, Underland (2009)

“My methodology for creating images starts with writing down the events of the dream as soon as I’ve woken up. Sometimes I’ll make sketches to help me remember particular visual details of the dream. I use this information to look for subject matter in my environment that has elements matching those of the environment of the dream. I then use digital manipulation to combine different visual elements to create the environments and the atmosphere I experienced in the dream. This is an important part, as it is where I transform my vision into a tangible medium. The meaning of a dream is the most important part, as it forms the backbone of the project. I therefore focus on using dreams that have a lasting effect on me, or is meaningful to me in some way. To me life is an existential journey and dreams can play an important part in learning how to deal with the complexities of living and can help to see things from a different perspective. The materializing of my dreams into images is a process which helps me understand myself and life better.” - Artist’s Statement

Loving yourself isn’t the important part. We all love ourselves, everyday; it’s called the Ego.
